Monday

After a wonderful week of vacation it was back to work. On my desk was all the giveaways they gave to all the reps during Customer Appreciation Week. I also found my Avon order and candle party order was also waiting for my return. I had ordered a really cool polished brass buddah candle holder. I love it! Part of my Avon order included lip gloss in a butterscotch flavor. I love that too. I guess because it was Columbus Day it was a little slower than normal for a Monday. Good thing because I was not ready for the usual monday onslaught. My mentor buddy, Erik has given his notice. He called off today. We are having a Mexican themed potluck for his goodbye on Wednesday. I'm thinking of making jalepeno poppers.

After work I stopped at Safeway and got the alpine lace cheese we needed for tonight's ruben sandwiches. I also stopped and got us 2 mochas from Dutch Brothers.

TV Watching: Finished watching the Rock of Love reunion. It left off with Jess kind of dumping Bret and saying he should have picked Heather. He was kind of agreeing with her. So now I want to know did he hook up with Heather?
I started to watch the show The Most Smartest Model. It's okay but I hope it gets more interesting.

No mail today due to the holiday. I met a neighbor today. Her name is Elizabeth Ann. She lives behind and over from us. She said she is having problems of people dumping trash in her backyard from the alley and asked if we would keep an eye out for any suspious people. We do have a house on the street behind us which a couple years back was busted for drugs. The guy went to prison, but I've noticed he is back and I guess the house has become busy again. It's nice to get to know the people who live around us. Other than that house, it's a nice neighborhood.

I noticed on my ride home today, alot of the trees are starting to turn into their beautiful fall colors. At work too the trees are turning and the bushes just over the weekend have turned bright red. So pretty. Tomorrow is supposed to be in the 70's. How did that happen? Then the rest of the week it cools back down to the 60's and then back to the 50's. Crazy fall weather.
