13 Favorite Things That Begin With "A" 1…. Apples - Red Delicious, Fuji, Granny Smith I love them all. Fall is best time for baking apple desserts.  2. Autumn Leaves - After the long hot days of summer I enjoy when the weather gets cooler and leaves start to turn such beautiful colors. It is sad when the leaves fall from the tree and leave the branches bare.  3. Anchovies - I am one of those crazy people who order anchovies on their pizza. I love them. I think I love alot of food that most people don't care for.  4. Alison Krauss - Voice of an angel. She makes music I never tire of. I definitely want to buy her new cd that just came out.  5. Automatic Transmission that Jiffy has. After driving the stick shift in the truck those few days it made me appreciate the automatic drive in my little black street machine. 6. Azure - the color of a beautiful ocean Driftin' Dreamin' In an Azure mood, Stardust gleamin' Thru my solitude: Here in my seclusion, You're a blue illusion While I'm in this Azure interlude. I'm not wanted I'm so all alone; Always haunted By the dreams I own; But, though I'm tormented I must be contented Driftin' Dreamin' In an Azure mood! Adornments - It would be hard to live without all my earrings, necklaces, bracelets, headbands and pins. I am not attracted to one certain style. I like tham all and want them all. I better pick those 6 perfect numbers! LOL 8.Arabian Horses - So majestic and so enchanting.  9. Afghans Especially granny squares. I love collecting them. I have many colorful crocheted afghans and they are all so special to me.  10. Accordians In my music collection I have lots of accordian music. The oomph pah pahs, polkas, cajun, gypsy and paris sidewalk cafe music all include or feature the accordian.  11. Absolute Martinis - I cannot drink them any longer but I sure loved them when i could. Maybe someday if I ever kick these disease I can enjoy one again.  12. Ashokan Farewell - This haunting melody is one of my favorite instrumentals. One of the best renditions is done by Fiddle Fever. If you saw the PBS series The Civil War it the song that played as Shelby Foot read the letter written by Sullivan Bellou. 13. Acorn Squash - Another one of my favorite fall treats.
